*Please note this session is reserved for students accepted after June 1 or from states other than MO, IA, IL, KS or NE. Please contact the Office of Admission at 660-785-4114 upon receiving your student pre-orientation packet if you are unable to attend an orientation session in June and do not fit the stated parameters or students pre-approved to register for this final orientation session.

Summer Orientation ’08
includes an optional overnight stay in one of Truman’s air-conditioned residence
halls for a fee of $20 per student. This option is available during the June 6th
and June 20th Summer Orientation sessions.
Students staying overnight will eat dinner in the residence halls, attend a professional entertainment show (performers for each overnight will be announced closer to Orientation!), and get to know their fellow classmates and Orientation Leaders.
New Truman students will be placed in accommodations with another Summer Orientation participant of the same gender.
A limited number of guest
rooms for parents are available on a first-come, first-served basis at a cost of
$40 per suite. Each suite includes a small living area and a private bath.
Please bring the following
personal items to make your stay more comfortable:
- sleeping bag or blanket
- pillow (sheets and a towel will be provided)
- toiletries (including bath soap)
- alarm clock
Requests for optional
overnight accommodations in Truman’s residence halls can be made beginning in
March.
